Run Coach - Boston, MA

I have been with MYSTRYDE since 2016, and involved in building the MYSTRYDE race training program from its start. After testing my own luck at the marathon distance, I began coaching athletes in 2016. Since then, my focus has been on growing this program and building a community that is welcoming, inclusive, hardworking and passionate. My mission at MYSTRYDE Train is to create a space that builds confidence, fosters community, and challenges runners to push their limits. I believe that sometimes it takes someone outside yourself to see the potential you have as a runner. My goal is to help runners of all backgrounds and abilities see and reach that potential and build the confidence to chase down their goals.

Coaching Philosophy

My coaching philosophy centers around finding purpose in running - From keeping your mental game positive and finding what keeps the joy in training, to making sure that every workout has a reason. I believe in easy days easy, hard days hard and not losing sight of all of the little things in between that keep you tracking toward your goal. Everyone trains differently and everyone needs a slightly different voice and twist on their individual training and I believe that’s key to success.

Why I Run

Over the years, running has been a lot of different things to me. At times it’s been an outlet, at times a means of chasing goals, at times an identity, and at times a way to find myself again. But it’s always a part of me in some way. Whether I’m showing up to test my limits or showing up to clear my mind, running is always there. It meets you where you’re at, it keeps you honest and it brings with it the most incredible community. To me, that’s what it’s all about. Showing up for myself, showing up for my runners and showing up for this community.

Favorite Race

Boston is definitely favorite for me but I also love the Falmouth Road Race. Its such a beautiful course and although its very challenging, 7 miles feels like the perfect distance to either chase down a great race or throw a party in the streets. And I’ve done both!
